The ColdFusion Podcast Episode 25 - CFFlex Super Wizard

Ah, servers, how we love thee. Our server has once again decided to act up, so it may be up and down over the next couple of days while we beat it into submission. We promise we're going to another host soon, really.

This week we discuss the news with lots of mention of the Adobe Developer Week as well as some good blog articles. Also, the topic of the week is the CFFLex Super Wizard provided by Adobe Labs with the ColdFusion connector.

kronin's Gravatar One huge benefit of the Google Web Toolkit is debugging.

Writing it all in Java enables you to debug it in Java, in a strongly-typed environment with a nice debugger.

This is a very strong argument to use the Google Web Toolkit, even if you know Javascript.

There's a very good explanation of this process in the following Java Posse podcasts (with the first one being the most thorough):
JavaPosse #056
JavaPosse #057

Thanks for the great podcast.

Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated in any way with JavaPosse, I just thought it was a good explanation of some of the benefits of the Google Web Toolkit.
